VeriEntity Verification Disclaimer. A verified record confirms a reviewed business identity connection—not a guarantee.

Verification Disclaimer

This page explains what a VeriEntity verification record and trust seal do—and, just as importantly, what they do not mean.

Effective date: July 19, 2026
Important: VeriEntity confirms a reviewed connection among identified business information. It does not certify that a business is trustworthy in every respect, guarantee future conduct, or replace your own research and judgment.

1. VeriEntity Is a Private Service

VeriEntity is a private United States business identity verification service operated by Mokwe Enterprise LLC. VeriEntity is not a federal, state, county, municipal, licensing, regulatory, accreditation, law-enforcement, tax, credit-reporting, or consumer-protection agency.

A VeriEntity record is not a government-issued license, filing, certificate of good standing, accreditation, permit, or regulatory approval.

2. What VeriEntity Verification Means

An active VeriEntity record generally means that VeriEntity reviewed information connecting some or all of the following:

Verification may confirm

  • A stated legal business entity.
  • An operating brand or DBA.
  • An identified business representative.
  • A website domain presented by the applicant.
  • A verification status and review term.

Verification does not automatically confirm

  • Every claim made by the business.
  • Every owner, employee, location, or product.
  • All licenses, insurance, taxes, debts, or lawsuits.
  • Financial strength, creditworthiness, or solvency.
  • Future conduct or continued legal compliance.

The precise scope of review may vary based on the application, information available, verification level, review date, and service procedures in effect at the time.

3. No Endorsement, Recommendation, or Accreditation

VeriEntity verification is not an endorsement, recommendation, sponsorship, accreditation, ranking, approval of products or services, or statement that a business is superior to another business.

A business may not describe VeriEntity verification in a way that falsely implies government approval, official licensing, guaranteed trustworthiness, insurance, accreditation, or endorsement by Mokwe Enterprise LLC.

4. No Guarantee of Conduct or Performance

VeriEntity does not guarantee:

  • Honesty, integrity, or lawful future behavior.
  • Product quality, authenticity, safety, or availability.
  • Service quality, timeliness, or customer satisfaction.
  • Delivery, refunds, warranties, or contract performance.
  • Financial condition, solvency, creditworthiness, or ability to pay.
  • Licensing, bonding, insurance, tax, employment, or regulatory compliance.
  • That a business will remain active after the review date.
  • That a website, offer, advertisement, or communication is free from fraud.

5. Public and Submitted Information

VeriEntity may rely on information supplied by an applicant, business representative, business website, public registry, payment provider, domain-related source, or other available source.

Public databases and third-party sources may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. A government registry’s display of an entity does not by itself establish that the entity is properly licensed for every activity, financially sound, or compliant with every legal obligation.

6. Information Can Change

Business names, ownership authority, registry status, domains, addresses, licenses, websites, and operations can change after verification. A record reflects the information reviewed and status displayed at a specific time.

Review dates and expiration dates should be considered when evaluating a record. A currently displayed record does not guarantee that no undisclosed change has occurred.

7. Trust Seal Limitations

A live VeriEntity trust seal is intended to connect a displayed website to its VeriEntity public record. The seal does not guarantee the content of the website, individual transactions, communications, employees, products, services, payment requests, or links appearing on that website.

Images or copies of a seal can be manipulated. Users should click the live seal or independently search the VeriEntity record number on VeriEntity.com rather than relying solely on a screenshot, email image, social-media post, or static graphic.

8. Users Must Perform Their Own Due Diligence

Before paying, signing a contract, sharing sensitive information, accepting employment, extending credit, or entering another significant relationship, users should perform research appropriate to the transaction.

Depending on the situation, this may include:

  • Reviewing state or federal registration records.
  • Confirming licenses with the responsible licensing authority.
  • Checking insurance, bonding, permits, or professional credentials.
  • Reading contracts, refund terms, and warranties.
  • Confirming payment instructions through trusted channels.
  • Reviewing independent complaint, court, or regulatory information.
  • Obtaining legal, accounting, financial, or professional advice.

9. VeriEntity Is Not a Party to Business Transactions

Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, VeriEntity and Mokwe Enterprise LLC are not parties to transactions between a verified business and its customers, employees, contractors, lenders, vendors, or other third parties.

VeriEntity does not control business communications, pricing, contracts, fulfillment, refunds, warranties, employment decisions, credit decisions, or disputes between users and listed businesses.

10. No Legal, Financial, Tax, or Professional Advice

VeriEntity records and website content are provided for general informational and business-identity purposes. They are not legal, financial, tax, investment, accounting, credit, insurance, licensing, cybersecurity, or other professional advice.

11. Service Availability and Technical Limitations

VeriEntity does not guarantee uninterrupted access to public records, dashboards, trust seals, email delivery, payment processing, domain checks, or website services. Maintenance, outages, provider failures, security events, browser restrictions, network issues, or other technical conditions may affect availability.

A temporary failure to display a seal does not by itself prove that a business is unverified, and a temporary seal display does not override the status shown on the public record.

12. Corrections, Misuse, and Reports

Businesses and members of the public may report suspected inaccuracies, impersonation, unauthorized seal use, domain changes, dissolved entities, or other material concerns through the VeriEntity contact page.

VeriEntity may request evidence, review the concern, correct information, add a warning, suspend a record, revoke verification, disable a seal, or take no action when the available information does not support a change.

13. Terms and Privacy Policy Also Apply

Use of VeriEntity is also governed by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. This Disclaimer supplements those documents and does not replace them.
